Members Guidelines
Thank you for joining Algerian Women In Science (ALWIS). The goal of our group is to organize online social and educational events or documents that bring together Algerian women with an interest in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM), and to establish a community for discussing issues relevant to women in the STEMM workforce.
Formats of events include speaker presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking events with multiple speakers. We will also deliver mentoring services and publish articles. We might collaborate with other organizations, academia, or industry.
Members are asked to follow these basic guidelines:
• Be respectful and courteous
We are all in this together to create a welcoming and supportive community. Healthy debates are natural but kindness is required. Please be respectful.
• No hate speech or bullying
Degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexuality, or political views are strictly forbidden. As scientists we are neutral and we want a safe community for women.
• No promotions or spam
If you want to advertise your work or propose a partnership, we welcome you to reach out to the leadership team at algerianwomenscientists@gmail.com Besides that no self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are allowed.
• Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Personal information that might be exposed in our group is still private and personal. What is shared in this community should stay in this community.
Failure in respecting our rules and community will cancel your membership.

Pour faire partie de cette communauté, il faut une confiance mutuelle. Les informations personnelles qui pourraient être exposées dans notre groupe restent privées et personnelles. Ce qui est partagé dans cette communauté doit rester dans cette communauté.
Le non-respect de nos règles et de la communauté entraînera l'annulation de votre adhésion.
